The purpose of the Fire Safety and Evacuation department is to identify the actions that should be taken by the occupants(patients, visitors, staff, physicians and employees ) in the event of a fire or similar emergency situation. The department Plan should ensure the safety of the hospital  occupants through fire prevention and evacuation.
